Patrick E. Hartley is the Owner of Southwest Disability Advocates, LLC and is a Non-Attorney Representative. He is in demand as a Representative who attends Administrative Law Judge hearings across the U.S. on behalf of clients of six separate national Social Security Disability representation firms.
Mr. Hartley has worked with individuals with disabilities for over thirty years. He was the CEO of Disability Legal Services, LLC, in Rancho Mirage, CA for five years. While serving as Area Manager for Crawford & Company HealthCare Management Services for ten years he oversaw the operations of offices throughout Southern California and Southern Nevada. His offices earned awards for Diversity, Efficiency, and Production.
He was a Vocational Expert to the Social Security Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for thirteen years and testified in over 10,000 hearings. He also testified as an Expert Witness in other legal venues including hearings for Workers Compensation, Longshore and Harbor Workers Act, and Superior Court for Long Term Disability and Personal Injury cases.
For three years Mr. Hartley served as the Supervisor of the Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration office in Cottonwood, Arizona and was Acting Supervisor of the West Peoria RSA office in Phoenix.
Mr. Hartley received his M.S. degree in Counseling at California State University, Long Beach. He holds the credentials of Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (C.R.C.) and Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (C.P.R.P.)
He participated in the SSA Direct Fee Withholding Demonstration Project and passed the qualifying exam in 2006. The Project was signed into law in 2010. He is a member of the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR).
